We create, organize, arrange and lead virtual and contextual learning experiences. The programs are designed for the specific purpose of providing an optional way of increasing your knowledge of the world around you through interactive learning. We weave our way through many art-forms and various cultural experiences. Because each event is different from the others, there is much to choose from— from the culture of tea to glimpses of cultures within various communities. We want to open the door to the rest of the world, offering “close-up” and personal ways to learn.
As we work to design engaging contextual learning experiences, we also build partnerships with interesting organizations and groups in order to enhance the journey within each Art and Culture day. We often replicate the most successful program models, but also offer new design enhancements within the familiar experience, to further expand effective event models. These experiences and curriculum may be customized or modified to meet the needs of a specific group or community.
It is the hope of LCG Art and Culture to open doors and share new art and cultural experiences for those, to whom these opportunities and resources were not always readily available and also to those who love to immerse themselves new ways of learning.
Though college is not available to everyone, it is our belief that anyone who wants to expand their own knowledge and perspectives should have that opportunity. For this reason, you choose the courses, events or experience that appeal to your interest. Select a virtual or contextual experience for yourself, your group or class.

A colloquium is a structured group gathering during which information is shared and discussion follows on a selected theme or topic and is often concluded with bit more conversation. The intent is to have authentic conversation on various topics of interest. This is an opportunity to speak and be heard and to exchange thoughts and perspectives in a larger community.

When considering the price of a few lemons or a pound of tomatoes, much can be learned from spending a few hours learning from a dedicated gardener. A true understanding is gained from the time it takes to produce a hand-full of green beans.
