Contextual learning is designed for the curious and for those who value personal growth through theme related education. Some past experiences include culinary demonstrations and tastings; learning history and culture while on an Amtrak train; exploring century-old artifacts, a day with horses and in gardens, fine art from a multi-cultural perspective, and structured conversations designed around selected issues that may affect social concerns and choices in life today. There are also opportunities for leadership development and social/cultural growth.

These events and academies are open to all adult learners, and are not limited only to those registered in an institutional program of higher learning. The educational elements are designed to expand a person’s understanding of the world and people around them.

LCG Art and Culture offers the opportunity for you, your colleagues and even family and friends, to expand your perspective in various aspects of the arts while offering exposure to new social and ethnic communities.
